What is DocuBunny, and where does it fit in your workflow?
DocuBunny takes a contract from first draft to final signature in one place: templates, signing, reminders, an audit trail and an AI Co-Pilot. Here is where it sits in your day and who it is built for.

Most people do not wake up wanting to manage contracts. You want the client signed, the hire onboarded, the rental agreed. The contract is the thing standing between “yes, let’s do it” and actually starting. DocuBunny exists to make that gap as short and as painless as possible.
The short version
DocuBunny is a contract workflow tool. You pick a template (or upload your own), fill in the details, send it to the people who need to sign, and DocuBunny follows it until everyone has signed. Along the way it keeps a tamper-evident record of what happened, reminds people who have gone quiet, and gives you an AI Co-Pilot that can explain the fine print in plain English.
It is built for people who sign agreements regularly but do not have a legal department: freelancers, agencies, small businesses, property professionals, HR teams and sales teams.
Where it fits in the life of a contract
Every contract goes through roughly the same five stages. Here is how they usually look when they are held together with a word processor and an inbox, and how they look in DocuBunny.
| Stage | The patchwork way | In DocuBunny |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Open an old file, find and replace the client name, hope nothing was missed | Start from a reusable template with fields for the details that change |
| Review | Read it again at midnight | Ask the AI Co-Pilot for a summary and a list of clauses worth a second look |
| Send | Export to PDF, attach, write the email | Send a signing link straight from the contract |
| Sign | Print, sign, scan, or chase a PDF back | Signers sign on any device, with no account needed |
| Track | Scroll your sent folder to see who has replied | One dashboard shows drafts, awaiting signature, signed and declined |
You can use DocuBunny for all five stages or only for the ones that hurt most. Plenty of people start with signing alone and add templates once they see how much time they save.
What you can do with it
- Build reusable templates with dynamic fields, including text, dates, checkboxes, dropdowns and radio buttons.
- Send a contract to one signer, several signers in a set order, or a whole list of recipients in one batch.
- Be notified the moment a recipient opens the document, not only when they sign.
- Send automatic reminders before a signing link expires.
- Ask the AI Co-Pilot for a summary, a risk check, a clause suggestion or an answer to a question about a contract.
- Add your logo to signing emails, invite teammates and give them roles.
- Keep an audit trail for every signed document, with signer identity, timestamps, IP address and a document fingerprint.
What makes it different
Three things shape the product more than any individual feature.
First, the pricing is published. You can see what it costs on the website, without booking a call. Second, the AI Co-Pilot is part of every plan, including the free one, rather than an add-on. Third, the things that are usually reserved for the top tier, such as your own branding and priority support, are available on plans that a small team can actually afford. We go deeper on this in how DocuBunny compares with traditional e-signature tools.
What DocuBunny is not
It is worth being clear about the limits. DocuBunny is not a law firm, and neither the templates nor the AI Co-Pilot are legal advice. The AI is there to help you understand and prepare a document, and a lawyer should still look at anything high-stakes. DocuBunny signatures are Simple or Advanced Electronic Signatures, which are legally recognised for the vast majority of everyday agreements, but it does not currently issue Qualified Electronic Signatures. If a specific document in your country requires one, or must be signed on paper or notarised, you will need to follow that route instead.
Getting started
The free plan is enough to try the whole flow end to end: create a contract from a template, send it to yourself or a colleague, sign it, and look at the audit trail. If you would like to see how the pieces work before you sign up, the features page walks through each one, and the FAQ answers the common questions.
